Odaily Planet Daily News: Thai Prime Minister Petunthan Shinawatra recently disclosed his personal assets worth $400 million, including two properties in London, investments in multiple companies, and a range of luxury watches and bags. The 38-year-old Shinawatra family member also listed 1.09 billion baht (about $31.6 million) in cash and deposits in more than 26 bank accounts. When she disclosed this information to the National Anti-Corruption Commission of Thailand, NACC, her total assets reached 13.85 billion baht (about $400 million). According to documents exposed by local media, Petunthan also declared nearly 5 billion baht in debt, and her net worth reached 8.9 billion baht (258 million U.S. dollars). Petunthan is Thaksin's youngest daughter. She became the third Shinawatra family member to lead Thailand in August 2024. Former Prime Minister Seta Thavism was removed by the Constitutional Court for violating ethics.
