Major crypto exchange Binance continues to update its listings and expand its options across platforms. Binance Alpha has recently added three new tokens to its platform: Flock.io (FLOCK), Eliza (ELIZA), and Metaverse (METAV).
Binance to Support Dash (DASH) Network Upgrade and Hard Fork
Binance announced that it will suspend deposits and withdrawals of Dash (DASH) tokens on January 7, 2025 at 14:00 GMT for the update and hard fork process on the Dash network. The project team will perform this upgrade and hard fork at block height 2,201,472.
Binance P2P adds support for new trading pairs in Africa
Binance P2P has announced that it has started offering new trading pairs in select fiat regions in Africa. DOGE, PEPE, and SHIB tokens can now be traded against select African fiat currencies such as ETB, GHS, KES, RWF, TZS, UGX, XAF, XOF, and ZAR.
The exchange’s large user base continues to trade these pairs using local payment methods. These expanded trading opportunities provide more investment inflows to meme coins, increasing their global market visibility. The positive opportunities offered by major exchanges like Binance are increasing investors’ expectations, and some analysts predict that the market is ready for a potential rally.
In light of these developments, DOGE price increased by 1% to $0.3382. Its 24-hour low and high prices were $0.3351 and $0.3442 respectively. The weekly chart is showing gains of 7%. SHIB token also rose by 2.5% to $0.00002278, while its 24-hour low and high prices were recorded as $0.00002215 and $0.00002294. Shiba Inu’s weekly chart showed a gain of 5%. On the other hand, PEPE token rose by 0.5% to $0.00002026, while its 24-hour low and high prices were $0.00002008 and $0.00002113, respectively.
