Well-known projects in the market have all risen a lot, where will the next popular AI Agent token be?

Starting with these questions in mind, you should look for projects that have a certain level of popularity expectations but whose value has not yet been fully discovered.

The AI hackathon previously initiated by Solana may be a good pool for finding such projects. With the support and attention of the Solana Foundation and ai16zdao, the projects that emerge from it will inevitably attract market attention.

On December 11 last year, Solana announced the official launch of the first AI Hackathon with a total prize pool of more than US$185,000 to attract developers to submit projects.

As of now, over 400 projects have submitted their works in about half a month. Which of these might yield some Alpha?

ShenChao TechFlow integrates various information and organizes some projects that have been discussed more and have issued tokens, summarized as follows.

1.$SOLENG (SOLENG): Reviewing the code submitted by hackathon projects.

Market Cap: 18M

24-hour increase: 12%

If you treat the Solana AI hackathon as a specific genre or narrative, then the projects that are more aligned with the theme itself are more likely to be considered orthodox.

From the judges' perspective, if you receive over 400 projects, it is obviously time-consuming and labor-intensive to review them all manually; currently, there is an AI Agent called SOLENG that is being used to help automatically review the code submitted by hackathon projects and provide initial review feedback.

Of course, relying solely on bot reviews is certainly not comprehensive, but SOLENG acting as a 'juror' to initially filter some obvious errors is clearly a feasible approach.

Currently, the project has also disclosed its GitHub address, where you can see SOLENG's review results and opinions on the code submissions from each hackathon project, which is quite fitting for the hackathon narrative.

In addition to broadly pointing out the pros and cons of the projects, SOLENG will also check for spelling errors in the code and provide correction methods.

GitHub address:

https://github.com/lostgirldev/solana-hackathon-judge

The developer behind SOLENG is named Lost Girl Dev, and the name coincidentally aligns with SOLENG's virtual girl avatar. However, it is worth mentioning that this Dev has garnered attention from the official account of ai16z and Shaw, who has also interacted with him on X.

From the above image, it can also be seen that the market cap of SOLENG is also gradually increasing in the AUM managed by ai16zdao.

Although the effect of using SOLENG to review code still awaits further evaluation by technically knowledgeable individuals, hiring an AI Agent as a juror and gaining official support and attention will inherently attract market interest.

With the heat of the hackathon, SOLENG has gained exposure and performance opportunities; but clearly, an Agent can do more than just serve as a juror for a competition; its broader capabilities may also be on the way.

2.$TONY (BigTonyXBT): Multi-hyphenate player, embedded trading Agent in Hyperliquid and Allora Network.

Market Cap: 4.7M

CA:

0xB22a793a81ff5b6Ad37F40d5FE1E0AC4184d52F3

24-hour increase: 66%

Although the theme is Solana's hackathon, there are also projects from multiple ecosystems applying.

For example, this AI Agent named BIgTonyXBT can be embedded into the recently popular Hyperliquid to act as a trading Agent; it can also be embedded into another public chain focused on AI Agents, Allora Network, to do similar things.

(Regarding Allora Network, see previous introductions from ShenChao (Interpreting the Allora White Paper: Self-improving Decentralized AI Network))

Regardless of the ecosystem it is placed in, the function of BIgTonyXBT remains consistent, which is to execute functions such as DCA, limit orders, automatic selling, or take-profit and stop-loss based on the given strategy in the corresponding DEX or trading platform.

The important reason for spanning multiple ecosystems is that the Agent relies on Cod3x (Twitter 200k followers), a well-known product ecosystem that allows users to discover, build, and automate on-chain financial strategies. Its agent interface (Agentic Interface) is a tool that can execute complex operations using only intention expression.

Currently, Cod3x is already a partner of @AlloraNetwork and also serves as the UX layer of @HyperliquidX, so it is not surprising that it can be embedded in these two systems.

Although its token TONY is currently on Base, the project itself is registered and submitted in the Solana AI hackathon, which also indicates the possibility of the project developing towards a new ecosystem.

Interestingly, BigTonyXBT also has its own launchpad called Make.fun, which can also quickly deploy various AI Agents or Meme tokens.

With a relatively good background and a wide range of functionalities, BigTonyXBT resembles a multi-hyphenate player.

However, the project currently has a relatively small market cap, and whether it will develop comprehensively or remain superficial still needs to be observed.

3.$PPCoin (Project Plutus): Execute trades autonomously based on real-time research and price.

Market Cap: 13M

CA:

76PsEyML7UV9uiBDWMdG3itRRuupDuRs6nNpjNBpump

24-hour increase: 21%

Project Plutus is also a trading-related AI Agent, whose token PPCoin is natively deployed on Solana and launched through Pumpfun.

The project's original intention is to hope that users can maximize profits while liberating them from chart observation and complex financial operations.

This sounds a bit like what AIXBT does. However, Project Plutus believes that while AIXBT's research is solid, it does not execute autonomous trades, which ultimately lacks that final critical step.

Therefore, the solution provided by the project is an aixbt-like research agent combined with the ability to execute autonomous trading based on real-time research/prices, using a funded wallet (with AUM for user investment and withdrawal) to achieve:

  • Automated trading strategy.

  • Optimize portfolio management.

  • Define financial goals and let AI agents deliver results.

From the project's current tweets, it can also be found that more functionalities are being integrated, such as letting the Agent assess the GitHub code quality of a project, adding more dimensions to the project's analysis.

In addition, regarding the token, PPCoin is not just a pure Meme; you can hold over 5,000,000 $PPCOIN to unlock more advanced analysis features, similar to how staking tokens on the Cookie platform allows for more functionality.

This also adds certain utility and consumption means to the token.

However, the projects are still in a very early stage. Interested players can visit here for the white paper to learn more about the design.

4.$THE1 (the1aiagent): Tracking narrative propagation and monitoring price performance.

Market Cap: 4.7M

CA:

BhmEQeiFd8Cu5fB6nmxm9rUsQj9Pu35X96RKv6GKtRJU

24-hour increase: 114%

@the1aiagent essentially resembles a prediction agent that can track the narrative (or token/KOLs) propagation and monitor its performance.

However, the Agent has not officially launched yet; the project continuously posts some prototype images and development processes on Twitter, such as being able to compare the price increase of a token after different KOLs mention it, presented in various visual chart forms.

Some of the more notable designs include:

  1. Melody Graph: Used to track the dynamics of token contracts. This means it can help users understand price changes, trading volumes, and other related metrics, thereby providing in-depth analysis of market trends.

  2. Influencer Graph: Used to analyze the influence of key opinion leaders (KOLs). This can help users identify and assess individuals or groups that have an impact on tokens or projects in specific markets or social media.

These two charts together can provide detailed insights into price fluctuations and narrative propagation, helping users better understand market dynamics and trends.

From the posting information alone, it reflects that the project has good research capabilities and chart presentation abilities, but how things actually perform still needs to be observed.

From a competitive perspective, similar products are already being offered by Cookie and have gained some popularity; this also means that products like THE1 need to deliver more differentiated functionalities or incentive points like Kaito that can better attract KOL self-propagation.

5.$JAIL (Jailbreakme), a bounty challenge to help find vulnerabilities in AI.

Market Cap: 7M

CA:

8cNmp9T2CMQRNZhNRoeSvr57LDf1kbZ42SvgsSWfpump

24-hour increase: -17%

This project is a familiar one; we have introduced it in previous articles. ((JailbreakMe 10-hour fast pass Moonshot, holding a 'Find AI vulnerabilities challenge' to create new styles))

Recently, with the rising heat of the hackathon, the project has been mentioned by numerous external KOLs, and its token JAIL saw a significant surge in the last 24 hours, followed by a decline.

The concept of Jailbreakme is very simple, which is to create a platform to crowdsource everyone's prompts and publicly hold a 'challenge to help find AI Agent vulnerabilities.'

For example, whoever can use their prompt engineering to force AI to reveal their private keys or execute transfers may win this round of the challenge.

However, finding vulnerabilities is neither as mindless as finding random numbers to mine hardware nor as purely betting as Polymarket; it still requires some prompt engineering skills.

Although everyone can participate, generally, the average person may end up being more of a cannon fodder, which also determines that the project's audience may not be that broad, making it relatively unique and niche in the various tracks of on-chain AI.

6.$ASYM (ASYM): Analyze and predict token trends on Pumpfun, automatically execute trading strategies.

Market Cap: 13M

CA:

DNMTk67urDBxEEVRx9HjVzCVu8en4Kgg5HfZy3E6pump

24-hour increase: 27%

ASYM can monitor tokens on Pumpfun, analyze their trends, and execute corresponding trading strategies according to its predictive models.

From the information provided by the official, ASYM integrates a set of machine learning models to predict short-term token price trends; at the same time, it has forked the framework of ai16z, allowing it to interact with people on X in the form of a Bot.

However, since it is a prediction token trend, the predictive ability and performance are certainly the most concerning.

However, the project's official website seems to have no updates, and ASYM related to the project on X currently appears to be conducting analysis similar to AIXBT.

This is likely because it is still in development but not yet fully completed. Its related posting bot @mungimungimungi releases some updates and movements in real-time, such as the accuracy of the prediction model and development progress.

Before the finished product appears, it may be worth paying further attention to its price performance and the progress published on social media.

Finally, due to limited time and energy, the over 400 submissions to the Solana AI hackathon cannot be fully traversed, and among them, some projects that have not issued tokens also possess certain potential. We will continue to track information and provide further interpretations.

It should be noted that the AI Agent craze also has a strong timeliness. Many early projects have the risk of going to zero after a hot trend. Please DYOR, do your own research and judgment; all of the above content is not investment advice.
