Plume Network is the first full-stack modular Layer 1 blockchain platform focused on real-world asset financing (RWAfi), which has announced the establishment of a $25 million RWAfi ecosystem fund to support the tokenization of real-world assets and early RWAfi projects on its platform.

The program aims to advance RWA tokenization and meet the growing interest in DeFi solutions that integrate real-world assets such as treasury bonds, GPUs, luxury goods, and private credit.

The fund is backed by several leading investors, including Galaxy Digital, Superscrypt, Reciprocal Ventures, Mechanism Capital, Hashkey, Selini, and Manifold, who will provide funding support and strategic guidance to help develop the Plume RWAfi ecosystem.

Plume CEO Chris Yin stated, "The RWAfi ecosystem fund represents an important step forward for Plume and DeFi focused on RWA. Bringing real-world assets on-chain can unlock tremendous value and new use cases across multiple industries and markets. The support of our partners will help us back the teams driving this innovation."

The fund will provide capital investment, strategic listing support, and strategic guidance for projects, leveraging Plume's network and infrastructure to support businesses in various RWAfi sectors.

Key focus areas of the RWAfi ecosystem fund include:

  • Innovative RWAfi products: Developing complex, yield-generating stable assets, integrating RWA into DeFi applications, including private credit, insurance products, royalty assets, infrastructure projects, AI/GPU resources, capital infrastructure, investment funds, and collectibles.

  • Vertically integrated ecosystem: Projects contributing to Plume's full-stack modular ecosystem to facilitate connections between assets, applications, and users.

  • Global accessibility and retail adoption: Supporting projects that develop products suitable for both developed and emerging markets, following established stablecoin adoption patterns.

  • Institutional integration: Supporting enterprises dedicated to institutional adoption through partnerships with new banks and fintech companies, emphasizing compliance in on-chain asset distribution.

  • Cross-chain interoperability: Supporting projects dedicated to efficient RWA distribution and scaling across different blockchain networks.

The fund is currently reviewing applications from seed-stage and pre-seed founders engaged in RWA and DeFi work, particularly those focused on tokenization, infrastructure, and compliance solutions.
