Losses from crypto scams, exploits, and attacks have decreased in the last months of 2024. December was the month with the lowest losses of the year. According to CertiK, known losses in December were recorded at $28.6 million, compared to $63.8 million in November and $115.8 million in October. The two biggest incidents were the $2.1 million exploit on DeFi platform GemPad and the $1 million exploit on the FEG project’s token bridge.
