NEVER tell ANYONE that you are involved in cryptocurrency.
As reported in the OSCE, from November 14 to 17, Ukrainian law enforcement officers underwent training organized by the Office of Economic and Environmental Activities and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.
Participants were introduced to advanced methods and practical tools for investigating financial crimes committed using virtual assets. They also learned how to track illegal transactions in different blockchain networks and what software is used for analysis.
"As the scale of use of virtual assets and cryptocurrencies in Ukraine increases, so does the urgent need to strengthen the potential of law enforcement and supervisory bodies. This plays an important role in the effectiveness of investigations, as well as increasing resistance to money laundering and other financial crimes," said at. Ralf Ernst, coordinator of economic and environmental activities of the OSCE.
