PANews January 1st news, according to CNBC, Standard Chartered's Geoffrey Kendrick predicts that Bitcoin will reach $200,000 by the end of 2025. Standard Chartered expects that the scale of institutional investors purchasing Bitcoin will 'continue to maintain or exceed the pace of 2024' next year. The bank noted that since the beginning of this year, institutional purchases of Bitcoin have reached 683,000 units, mainly through the U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF and software company and Bitcoin investment alternative MicroStrategy. He also added that the incoming Trump administration is expected to reform regulations on traditional finance (TradFi) companies investing in digital currency, and pension funds will begin to include more Bitcoin in their portfolios through U.S. spot ETFs next year. Even a small allocation from the $40 trillion in U.S. retirement funds would significantly boost Bitcoin prices.
