Golden Finance reports that, according to Bloomberg, Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Spajic stated on Tuesday that Montenegro has completed the extradition of Do Kwon, the co-founder of Terraform Labs, to the United States. He posted on the X platform: This extradition demonstrates our firm commitment to international justice and the rule of law. Do Kwon is facing dual charges in New York and Seoul due to the $40 billion loss caused by the collapse of the TerraUSD stablecoin in 2022. Previously, he was arrested in Montenegro for using a forged passport. In April of this year, Terraform Labs and Do Kwon were found to have committed fraud in a civil lawsuit brought by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and Terraform has agreed to pay $4.5 billion in settlement fees.
