BlockBeats reported that on December 31, according to CryptoSlate, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong proposed integrating USDC into the X platform payment system. Previously, Coinbase chief engineer Travis Bloom had asked Elon Musk when the X platform would support users to send and receive USDC on the Base network.
X Platform announced in January this year that it plans to launch a peer-to-peer payment service similar to PayPal. Its subsidiary X Payments has currently obtained money transmission licenses in 33 states, including California, Illinois, and Virginia.
