The 95s AI genius Luo Fuli from Sichuan, who was heavily recruited by Xiaomi's Lei Jun. Born into an ordinary family in a small town in Sichuan, she had little exposure to computers before university. She entered Beijing Normal University to study computer science, initially falling to the bottom of her class due to a weak foundation. Through talent and hard work, she was able to secure a recommendation for graduate studies at Peking University’s Institute of Computer Science. During her master's program, she published eight papers at the top international conference on artificial intelligence, ACL. After graduating from Peking University, she joined Alibaba's Damo Academy's Machine Intelligence Lab, where she led the development of the multilingual pre-training model VECO, gaining significant recognition in the AI field.
