Tether, the issuer of the stablecoin USDT, has made a significant move by transferring nearly $780 million worth of Bitcoin into its corporate reserves. This marks Tether's largest Bitcoin acquisition since March. The company received separate transfers totaling approximately 8,404.5 BTC, valued at $777.4 million, with Bitcoin trading around $92,500. Tether now holds 83,759 BTC, worth just under $7.75 billion, making it the second-largest Bitcoin holder among private firms. This move reflects a growing trend of companies adding Bitcoin to their treasuries amid rising prices.
