Dragonfly Managing Partner Haseeb Qureshi stated in a post on X: "So I want to ask an obvious question, since ai16z is now a token with a market value of over 1 billion dollars, does it not infringe on the a16z trademark? ai16z initially felt like a parody, but now it seems to have become a more legitimate project with a more positive roadmap." and is seeking help from intellectual property lawyers to clarify his doubts.

He further added: "Without commercial intent, it's hard to become a token with a market value of 1 billion dollars."
