Grayscale’s Q1 2025 report covered 6 new cryptocurrencies and developments in Solana and artificial intelligence projects.
Grayscale Research has published its crypto asset research report for the first quarter of 2025. In the updated report, altcoins named HYPE, ENA, VIRTUAL, JUP, JTO and GRASS were added to the list of top 20 cryptocurrencies.
The inclusion of these assets in the list means that the relevant projects stand out with their market potential and innovative features.
The report stated that Trump's ascension to the US presidency by 2025 could have positive effects on cryptocurrencies.
It was stated that possible regulations and developments, especially in decentralized finance (DeFi) and staking applications, could play an important role in the markets.
Grayscale also assessed the impact of decentralized artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and AI-based “agent” applications on the cryptocurrency ecosystem, predicting that innovations in this area could increase the functionality and adoption rates of future crypto projects.
Finally, another prominent topic of the report was the Solana ecosystem. It was stated that Solana-based projects attracted investor attention with their high performance and innovative protocol features.
It was emphasized that the expansion and new applications in the Solana network could contribute to the acceleration of the ecosystem throughout 2025.
