**Fake Zoom, Wallets Float!**
- Be careful, crypto friends! There's exciting news from the virtual world: cybercriminals are back in action with a new trick that will make you shake your head. This time, they're using fake Zoom invitations to drain your crypto wallet! 😱
- According to a report from SlowMist, the perpetrators used a fake domain that looked similar to the real Zoom. Once you click on it, the malware immediately enters and is ready to steal sensitive data such as passwords and crypto wallet details.
- This attack managed to collect more than $1 million in crypto, which was then converted into 296 ETH. The funds were then distributed to various wallet addresses, including those connected to well-known exchanges such as Binance and Gate.io.
- SlowMist advises us to always be vigilant: check links before clicking, don't install random software, and make sure your antivirus is always up-to-date.
