Current Cryptocurrency Market (December 28, 2024): Bitcoin Price Falls Below $95,000, Altcoin Prices Struggle

The cryptocurrency market remains stable after recent fluctuations, with a total market capitalization of $3.3 trillion. However, trading activity has slightly decreased, with intraday trading volume down 1.66% to $124.18 billion. Nevertheless, market sentiment remains neutral, with the Fear and Greed Index at 51.
Bitcoin Struggles Below $95,000
The largest cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, has dropped 2.11% in the past 24 hours, closing at $94,290. Interestingly, Bitcoin's trading volume increased by 5.19% to $48.39 billion, indicating an increase in trading activity during the price decline.
A report from Farside shows that there was a significant outflow of funds from Bitcoin ETFs on Friday, amounting to $287 million. Fidelity led the market with an outflow of $208 million, followed by Ark & 21Shares with an outflow of $112 million, and Bitwise Bitcoin ETF with an outflow of $36 million.
Altcoins Show Mixed Performance
Altcoins are mixed, with Ethereum stabilizing at $3,335 after a slight decline, having a market capitalization of $401 billion. The inflow of funds into Ethereum ETFs was $47.7 million, while Fidelity and BlackRock reported inflows of $27 million and $20 million, respectively.
Perhaps, Solana, XRP, and TON are all in trouble, as they have all dropped about 2% in the past day.
