Jupiter Airdrop 2025: Rain of Tokens on the Solana Universe!
In January 2024, the DEX aggregator Jupiter on Solana made an impression with a massive airdrop of its governance token, JUP, thus initiating a real "airdrop season". A year later, Jupiter is preparing to repeat the experience with a new distribution planned for January 2025.
Details of the January 2025 airdrop:
Total quantity distributed: 700 million JUP tokens.
Distribution:
500 million JUP intended for active users (swappers) and stakers.
200 million JUP reserved for the "Carrots" and "Good Cats" communities.
Eligibility Criteria:
Active Users: 425 million JUP will be allocated to those who have swapped on Jupiter in the past year. Rewards will range from 50 to 20,000 JUP, split into five tiers based on trading volumes. Additionally, those who have used services such as Perps, DCAs, or limit orders will receive additional bonuses.
Stakers and Governance Participants: 75 million JUP will be shared equally between stakers and active voters within the Jupiter DAO.
Additional incentives are planned throughout 2025, including rewards for wallets that claim and stake their JUP via the mobile app.
