Solana co-founder Stephen Akridge is suspected of hiding millions of dollars in staking rewards during his acrimonious divorce from his ex-wife Elisa Rossi, according to DLNews. Rossi filed a lawsuit in California state court seeking withheld staking rewards. The couple was married for nearly a decade and accumulated a lot of wealth during that time, mainly from Akridge's founding role in Solana Labs.
According to the lawsuit, Rossi claims that the divorce process was long and contentious. As part of the divorce settlement, she was entitled to a portion of the proceeds from her SOL tokens, but Akridge did not give her the staking rewards, causing her to lose millions of dollars. After learning that Akridge had concealed these staking rewards, Rossi contacted him several times to request their return, but was met with an indifferent response.
