Whale Alert, a well-known blockchain tracking agency, recently recorded a huge Shiba Inu (SHIB) transfer, with a transaction amount of up to 2,884,590,622,344 SHIB, worth about 65,703,762 US dollars. The transaction was initiated by BTCTurk, the second largest cryptocurrency exchange in Turkey, to withdraw these SHIB to an anonymous wallet. This incident occurred shortly after the Shibarium blockchain of SHIB Metaverse went online, attracting widespread attention from the community.
Questions raised by the huge fine
According to Whale Alert data, recent huge SHIB transactions have been marked as BTCTurk's operations. Although the exchange stated internally that this was just part of the wallet optimization, the community still made various speculations about this. Some cryptocurrency enthusiasts believe that this transaction may be dominated by large whales, and some people suspect that the exchange may face security issues. However, BTCTurk made it clear that this transfer was completely under its control and there was no abnormality.
Other large transactions: Ethereum withdrawals
At the same time, BTCTurk also conducted three major transactions of Ethereum (ETH), with a total value of up to $220 million. These transactions included 23,285 ETH, 20,000 ETH, and 20,000 ETH, which were also transferred to anonymous wallets. The exchange responded that these operations were also part of its wallet optimization plan. However, this was entirely to quell community speculation, and some even suspected that the exchange might encounter potential attacks.
New progress in SHIB Metaverse
This huge rotation of SHIB coincides with the official launch of the early access version of SHIB Metaverse on Shibarium. The project has been in development for several years and is led by the SHIB team (including its mysterious leader Shytoshi Kusama). The launch of Metaverse is another milestone for the SHIB ecosystem and has attracted enthusiastic participation from fans and investors. Users can link their wallets to explore more features of this virtual world first.
