ChainCatcher message, Moca verse on platform X indicates that this morning, Animoca Brands co-founder Yat Siu's official X account @ysiU, despite having two-factor authentication (2FA) set up, was still subject to unauthorized access and compromised. Malicious actors used the account to post false information and links about a counterfeit SOLANA token. It has been confirmed that platform X has regained control of the @ysiU account and is currently verifying the true ownership of the account.

Evidence suggests that this may be a case of identity theft, as the account had standard security measures (such as two-factor authentication) in place. Consideration is being given to implementing more robust security solutions. The official accounts of Animoca Brands, Moca Network, or the MOCA Foundation were not compromised, and strict security measures have been taken. As a precaution, all key members and official accounts have updated all authentication methods. No other vulnerabilities or unauthorized activities have been detected.
