According to ChainCatcher news, the official announcement states that the N3 Compute Network testnet, a high-performance computing test network from Network3, has opened whitelist applications and will start staking mining on December 26 at 8:00 am (GMT+8).
High-performance GPU providers can participate in staking mining while earning rental income. GPU renters can acquire high-performance computing power at an average cost 50% below market prices. Computing power owners, developers, or institutions can apply for a whitelist through official channels. The platform plans to later open a joint mining feature to users without high-performance GPU devices, allowing users to participate in staking to earn token rewards.
In addition, Network3 has launched a Pre-TGE airdrop event and plans to list on multiple well-known exchanges in January next year.
The launch of the N3 Compute Network marks further improvements by Network3 in the decentralized Edge AI infrastructure domain. It upgrades from small model applications of Edge AI inference to supporting computation-intensive tasks such as training, fine-tuning, and data processing for medium to large AI models.
