Ripple (XRP) is currently showing a slight upward reaction, with prices supported in the range of $2.24 to $2.21. Although the price trend is relatively positive, there is a lack of excessive impulsive reaction. Since reaching this support area, XRP has consistently made higher highs and higher lows, indicating some bullish momentum in the market.
Current wave structure and Fibonacci targets
The current price trend may be part of a larger wave structure. According to Fibonacci extensions, the ideal targets for wave D and wave C are around $2.59. While it is still uncertain whether the price will reach this level, this target provides a reasonable reference point for potential upward movement. If the ABC structure is valid, the price may move further towards this target and eventually form a larger wave pattern. After this wave ends, wave E may create higher lows, laying the foundation for a potential breakout.
Bullish triangle and alternative wave structure
If a bullish triangle pattern appears, this structure will include waves A, B, C, D, and E, with no lower lows, only lower highs and higher lows, ultimately leading to upward price movement. Another possibility is that the market will experience a larger range of adjustments, forming a WX-Y structure, where wave Y may develop into a triangular formation. Although this scenario is currently speculative, it should be viewed as a potential direction for market development.
Key support levels and potential risks
So far, XRP's support levels remain strong. For the current bullish outlook to fail, XRP must break below $2.24 and further drop below the volatility low of December 20 at $1.94. If these key levels are breached, the blue wave count may become the main trend, potentially leading to further price declines towards the Fibonacci target area of $1.80 to $1.39.
