Brothers, I helped everyone with the due diligence, Binance Launchpool has launched the 63rd issue of the BIO Protocol (BIO) project with a total of three highlights:
1. BIO is an investment fund for academic research abroad. The project team is entirely composed of foreigners and has nothing to do with local individuals. The main purpose of BIO is: DeSci 2.0: How BIO will spark a biotechnology revolution (the foreigners seem to have quite a vision).
2. BIO is an old project. It is a cryptocurrency project that started in 2021, specifically providing funding assurance for biotechnology, allowing for the acquisition of intellectual property to gain profits, and to invest in the next technology project.
3. In November 2024, Binance will make an investment entry. Binance Labs made its first DeSci investment in BIO Protocol, raising over $33 million in BIO Genesis.
The mission of BIO is to become a permissionless launchpad and acceleration network, making the creation of DeSci DAOs as easy as launching a Subreddit. BioDAO is a Reddit community that has bank accounts and can build real-world IP portfolios like pharmaceutical companies. pump.fun or DAOS.FUN serves the on-chain scientific community, allowing patients, scientists, and investors to seed, scale, and co-own new drugs and therapies outside of traditional pharmaceutical companies, and to commercialize them.
Early admissions for BIO include:
Long COVID Labs: Accelerating the cure for over 100M+ global patients, led by former Stanford neuroscientist Rohan Dixit, who self-treated his own Long COVID.
Curetopia: Targeting the $1+ trillion rare disease field, led by Y-Combinator alumni, Harvard PhD, and rare disease entrepreneur Ethan Perlstein, who brought a drug into phase 3 clinical trials for only $5M (a small fraction of the typical $100M+ cost).
Quantum Biology DAO: Building quantum microscopes to observe quantum biological phenomena, led by one of the world’s leading quantum biology scientists, MIT PhD Clarice Aiello.
