TechFlow reported on December 23 that according to CoinDesk, the latest report from crypto index provider CF Benchmarks predicts that investment advisors will surpass hedge funds in 2025 to become the largest holder of Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs in the United States, with holdings expected to exceed 50%. Currently, hedge funds hold 45.3% of Bitcoin ETFs, while investment advisors only hold 28%.
The report pointed out that as the US$88 trillion wealth management industry begins to accept crypto assets, the net inflow of BTC and ETH ETFs in 2025 will exceed the record of US$40 billion set in 2024. In addition, CF Benchmarks expects the scale of tokenization of real-world assets to exceed US$30 billion in 2025, and in the field of stablecoins, Ripple's RLUSD and Paxos' USDG will challenge the dominance of USDT.
