Cryptocurrency exchange Binance is mining Junkcoin (JKC) and Pepecoin (PEP) through its mining platform Binance Pool$PEPE

Announced support for unified mining.

This new feature allows miners to earn rewards in different cryptocurrencies such as LTC, Dogecoin (DOGE), Bellscoin (BELLS), Luckycoin (LKY), Junkcoin (JKC), and Pepecoin (PEP) while mining Litecoin (LTC).

Merged mining is a system where it is possible to process transactions across multiple blockchains with the same computing power. Also known as Auxiliary Proof of Work (AuxPoW), this method increases efficiency and allows earning additional cryptocurrencies in addition to major currencies like Litecoin.

With the addition of Junkcoin and Pepecoin to the merged mining program, Binance Pool continues to appeal to miners looking for alternative coins and higher reward potential. This move demonstrates Binance Pool’s efforts to support emerging coins in the crypto ecosystem and encourage participation in mining.

This new feature supports the growth of smaller blockchain networks while also providing attractive opportunities for miners looking to earn higher profits.

Miners can take advantage of this feature by joining Binance Pool and configuring their mining systems to enable merged mining. Detailed configuration guides and more information are available on the Binance Pool platform.

As merged mining gains more and more traction, Binance Pool’s inclusion of Junkcoin and Pepecoin makes the platform a versatile option for both established and new cryptocurrencies.
