ai16z partner Shaw: ELIZA is operated by an independent team, recognized but not an official project

CoinVoice has recently learned that ai16z partner Shaw explained the relationship structure between the related entities of the project in a post on the X platform:

ai16z is a permissionless DAO, including $ai16z and $degenai; elizaOS is an open-source AI agent framework; Eliza Labs is responsible for building elizaOS; the ELIZA token is operated by an independent team, recognized but not an official project.

Shaw particularly emphasized that the DAO is permissionless because it was fairly launched without a legal entity and has no team allocation, venture capital, or anything else. While recognizing and supporting the ELIZA token project, it is a different team from ai16z.
