France's financial regulator, the AMF, has given the green light to BPCE's crypto subsidiary, Hexarq, to operate as a crypto asset service provider. This approval allows Hexarq to offer a range of crypto services, including custody and trading against the euro. Set to launch in 2025, Hexarq will integrate its services into BPCE's major networks, Banque Populaire and Caisse d'Épargne, reaching 35 million customers. Hexarq is the fourth crypto business to receive AMF's CASP authorization, joining Société Générale's Forge, Deblock SAS, and GOin SAS.
