Audius, a decentralized music platform, has teamed up with the International Copyright Enterprise (ICE) to expand royalty earnings for over 330,000 music rights owners, including artists and songwriters. This multi-territory licensing agreement, announced on Dec. 19, covers regions like sub-Saharan Africa and the Asia Pacific.
The partnership aims to leverage technology to empower creators, allowing them to earn royalties directly through Audius' global marketplace. Audius has been forming similar partnerships with industry giants like Kobalt and ASCAP to enhance revenue opportunities for rights holders.
