【Wood Sister: Bitcoin may exceed $1 million by 2030】
Although the price of Bitcoin fell sharply from its highs after the Fed’s “hawkish rate cut”, and even fell below the important mark of $100,000 on Thursday. However, the industry’s optimism about Bitcoin’s long-term potential does not seem to have diminished, and the optimistic voices are still heard.
Cathie Wood, CEO of ARK Invest, known as “Wood Sister” in the industry, reiterated her views on the future of Bitcoin in a recent interview, predicting that Bitcoin may exceed the $1 million mark by 2030, and emphasized that Bitcoin is becoming a more scarce asset than gold. Unlike gold, when the price of gold rises, the rate of increase in production will also accelerate, but the supply of Bitcoin is fixed (upper limit of 21 million), which makes it have a stronger ability to preserve value in inflationary pressure and economic uncertainty.
“Wood Sister”’s views undoubtedly once again strengthened Bitcoin’s status as “digital gold”. With the gradual entry of institutional investors and the gradual improvement of the government’s regulatory framework for digital assets, more and more capital has begun to pour into this emerging market. Bitcoin not only has the advantages of globalization, digitization, and easy liquidity, but also can cross national borders and currency restrictions around the world, becoming a borderless asset.
Do you think it is possible?
