Methods to break free from losses, generally divided into two types 🤞😎👌

1. Active strategies for breaking free from losses

1. Cut losses

If you find that your purchase was a serious mistake, especially if bought at the peak of a previous explosive bull market, you need the determination to cut losses decisively and timely to protect your capital. There are many opportunities in the cryptocurrency market; as long as your capital does not suffer significant losses, you can always earn it back.

2. Swap coins

If the coin you hold is underperforming and has further downside potential, and if you accurately judge that another coin has a greater potential for appreciation and a stronger trend, you can decisively swap to the new coin to offset losses from the old coin.

3. Short selling

When it's determined that you are deeply trapped and unable to cut losses, and the overall market or a specific coin has further downside potential, you can use short selling, first selling the trapped coins and then buying them back at a lower price, effectively reducing costs.

2. Passive strategies for breaking free from losses

1. Averaging down

If the purchase price is not high or you have strong confidence in the future market, you can choose to use the averaging down technique. However, ordinary investors can usually only afford one or two rounds of averaging down, so timing is crucial.

2. Wait it out

When fully invested and deeply trapped, unable to cut losses or add to positions, you can only passively wait. As long as it is your own money, not borrowed or loaned, you can have the patience to wait. Do not act emotionally by blindly averaging down or rashly cutting losses. Being trapped is not terrifying; sometimes, not being trapped means not making money, and being trapped may actually lead to significant profits. Therefore, do not simply view being trapped as a disaster; if handled properly, it can completely turn into an opportunity.
