Previously, we introduced how the GenZ viral meme Chillguy suddenly became a meme coin on Solana. Now, some people have combined the Chillguy meme with this year's booming mini apps to launch the Chillguy Xmas mini game. However, there are whistleblowers stating that Chillguy Xmas is the predecessor of a mini app called Mapogo, which has already run away, and that such games ultimately lead to a token presale, followed by running away with worthless tokens.
Completely lacking in gameplay, Chillguy Xmas is not GameFi at all.
Entering the game page of Chillguy Xmas, it can be found that it is simpler than the original Tap to Earn, essentially a passive game that regularly collects points. However, it can provide returns in Solana and CGX tokens, which is quite paradoxical. If you do not know the source of the other party's income, it is likely that you are that source of income. This type of mini app that requires no action lacks gameplay, and thus cannot be called GameFi.
Upon entering the task page, it is similar to most mini apps, requiring users to retweet, follow, or watch YouTube videos to earn points. This is, of course, also a means for the project party to monetize traffic.

And the Threads account ___yun.5zo posted that after investigation, @chillguy_xmas's account had previously been renamed, originally called @mopogocommunity. According to the screenshots provided by him, it can be inferred that Mopogo is also a mini app on Telegram. However, the Twitter account has already been renamed, and the official website link is also invalid. Furthermore, searching the keyword @mopogocomunity on Twitter will also show content from @chillguy_xmas.
___yun.5zo warned that Chillguy Xmas is likely another funding scheme launched by the same team, pointing out that the harvesting method for such projects usually involves launching a token presale and then running away with worthless tokens. The author adds: Currently, the CGX token has been issued on the Solana chain.
