PANews reported on December 18 that Swiss cryptocurrency custody company Taurus is collaborating with banking software provider Temenos. Taurus provides core banking software to many of the largest financial institutions worldwide, allowing these banks to quickly and easily create cryptocurrency wallets and transfer various digital assets.

The cooperation is significant because Geneva-based Temenos is a large company: it has 67 offices in 40 countries and serves over 3,000 banks and financial institutions. Taurus's cryptocurrency custody clients include Deutsche Bank and State Street, and the company stated that this is the first digital asset custody platform fully integrated with Temenos.
