The blockchain gaming industry is seeing a shift towards a more top-heavy structure as it gains mainstream traction, according to the Blockchain Gaming Association's 2024 survey. With data from 623 respondents, the survey highlights a significant presence of C-suite executives, with 73.2% in upper management roles. This trend reflects tighter budgets and hiring slowdowns post-crypto winter. Interestingly, 52.5% of respondents now come from a gaming background, up from previous years. However, challenges remain, such as low youth engagement and gender diversity, with 82% of respondents identifying as male.
