Riot Platforms continues to purchase an additional 667 Bitcoin

On December 16, Riot Platforms announced the purchase of an additional 667 Bitcoin, valued at approximately 69 million dollars, at an average price of 101,135 dollars per Bitcoin. This Bitcoin brings the company's total holdings to 17,429 BTC, equivalent to about 2 billion dollars at current prices.

This transaction was made possible through funding from the issuance of convertible bonds that the company announced earlier. This decision not only demonstrates Riot's commitment to expanding its Bitcoin portfolio but also aligns with the strategy of MicroStrategy, one of the leading companies in Bitcoin holdings.

The increase in Bitcoin holdings by Riot Platforms comes amid signs of price adjustment after reaching a recent all-time high of approximately 106,648 dollars on the morning of December 16.
