🕵️♂️ VanEck's 2025 Cryptocurrency Market Prediction: BTC Soars to $180,000, ETH Rises to $6,000!
VanEck Asset Management recently released their super predictions for the 2025 cryptocurrency market. Let's take a look at their insights and forecasts!
Firstly, they predict a mid-term peak in the first quarter of 2025, followed by a new high in the fourth quarter. By then, Bitcoin (BTC) is expected to soar to $180,000, and Ethereum (ETH) will exceed $6,000!
With President Trump's victory, VanEck also believes that the U.S. may adopt Bitcoin as a strategic reserve, potentially bringing a new wave of enthusiasm to the cryptocurrency market.
They also predict that with Trump's selection of a crypto-friendly chairman for the SEC, various cryptocurrency ETP applications may get approved, and Ethereum ETPs may even incorporate staking features!
At the same time, the TVL of Bitcoin's second-layer solutions is expected to reach 100,000 Bitcoins. This prediction is based on the explosive growth of 600% in this sector in 2024, bringing the TVL to 30,000 Bitcoins.
The blob space of Ethereum will generate $1 billion in fee revenue due to the widespread adoption of Layer-2, the optimization of rollup technology, and the high-cost usage scenarios driven by tokenized assets and enterprise-level applications.
The daily trading volume of the stablecoin market is also expected to surge from $100 billion to $300 billion, driven by global commerce, remittances, and integrations with major technology and payment networks.
In the DeFi space, VanEck predicts the emergence of 1 million new AI agents for DeFi, social media, gaming, and consumer applications. DEX trading volume will hit an all-time high of $4 trillion, and the TVL will reach $200 billion.
The NFT market will also see a revival, with trading volumes expected to reach $30 billion. Meanwhile, the tokenized securities market is projected to grow significantly, soaring from $12 billion this year to $50 billion.
