Buena Vista Capital, one of the leading asset managers in the Brazilian financial market, launched two new ETFs last Friday (13): COIN11 and IWMI11. Both promise to expand investment options for Brazilians, focusing on high-potential segments: Bitcoin and American small caps.
Both products offer annual dividend payments of around 24% for COIN11 and 14% for IWMI11. With this, the manager seeks to democratize access to markets considered complex, such as cryptocurrencies and small-cap companies in the United States.
Renato Nobile, manager and analyst at Buena Vista Capital, highlighted the relevance of the launch:
Our main mission is to identify the best investment segments and bring them to the Brazilian market. Products such as COIN11 and IWMI11 simplify access to global trends, with practicality, security and good profitability.
COIN11: first Bitcoin ETF with monthly dividends in Brazil
COIN11 tracks the NEOS Bitcoin High Income Index and is the first Brazilian Bitcoin ETF to pay monthly dividends. With a management fee of 0.98%, the product combines Bitcoin exposure with a simplified tax structure:
15% tax withheld at source on earnings, eliminating the need to issue a monthly DARF.
According to Nobile, COIN11 combines the potential of the cryptocurrency market with ease for the investor:
The dividend segment is very prominent in Brazil. By associating this benefit with the cryptocurrency market, we offer a practical form of investment, without the need to manage digital wallets.
IWMI11: focus on American small caps with high growth potential
IWMI11 is aimed at American small caps, companies with a market value between US$300 million and US$2 billion. Although smaller than large caps, these companies have great growth potential.
The IWMI11 tracks the NEOS Russell® 2000 High Income Index, which measures the performance of the 2,000 smallest companies in the Russell 3000. The ETF has a management fee of 0.83% and a flat tax rate of 15%.
The sectors represented include:
Financial, Health, Technology, Real Estate, Energy and Consumption.
Companies like Udemy, Papa John’s, Krispy Kreme, Coursera, Victoria’s Secret and GoPro are on the radar.
Nobile highlights the importance of IWMI11 for Brazilian investors:
In the US, ETFs are widely adopted by individual and institutional investors. In Brazil, the market is expanding, and investors have realized the potential of ETFs as a practical and efficient way of diversifying without having to leave the country.
The force of Buena Vista in the market
In addition to COIN11 and IWMI11, Buena Vista Capital already has the SPYI11 ETFs, focused on the 500 largest American companies, and QQQI11, focused on companies in the Nasdaq-100® index. In addition, the manager also operates with Venture Capital funds, such as Kenobi and Pascal.
With over R$270 million in assets under management and around 15,000 shareholders, Buena Vista continues to expand its options for Brazilian investors interested in exploring global markets in a practical and safe manner.
