Odaily Planet Daily News EF (Ethereum Foundation) protocol support lead Tim Beiko shared a proposal to update EIP 7723. This EIP is not a change to the Ethereum core protocol, but outlines the various stages that an EIP impacting the Ethereum protocol must go through before being activated in a network-wide upgrade. Beiko suggested that EIPs marked as 'Considered for Inclusion' or CFI should be regarded as those that developers plan to include in the upgrade for the development network (including any future development networks). Furthermore, EIPs marked as 'Scheduled for Inclusion' or SFI should be considered those that developers plan to upgrade in the next upcoming development network. Beiko explained, 'The reasoning behind this is that it helps us limit the amount of content introduced at once (on the development network), so if we want to include 10 items in SFI, we should indicate that we intend to deploy these 10 items in the next development network. If we think that's too much, we must choose which subset we actually want to include in the next development network.' Beiko added that unless there are comments or objections, he will finalize this change in EIP 7723 before next week.
