Can a Bitcoin worth $100,000 still be bought?

Hippo Talks Coin Episode (2)

In this episode, we discuss four aspects: First, why is Bitcoin worth so much money? Second, what are the investment advantages of Bitcoin compared to traditional assets like gold and stocks? Third, is there still room for Bitcoin to rise? Fourth, we will briefly share some of my summarized experiences for novice friends.

1. Why is Bitcoin so expensive?

The price of Bitcoin is mainly determined by its limited supply and the increasing demand. The total number of Bitcoins is only 21 million, which is not even enough for every millionaire to have one; now that the Bitcoin ETF has been approved in the U.S., with Trump’s support and Musk’s endorsement, the number of individuals, institutions, and countries recognizing Bitcoin is growing. Scarcity + increasing consensus are driving the continuous rise in Bitcoin prices.

2. Advantages of Bitcoin over traditional assets

The decentralized nature of Bitcoin allows assets to be relatively independent of specific countries, making it easier for individuals to control private assets; the storage of Bitcoin is very convenient, and its advantages are more pronounced in turbulent times; Bitcoin is still an emerging industry, and the crypto sector remains a blue ocean.

3. The potential for Bitcoin's price increase

Regarding the potential for Bitcoin's price increase, $100,000 is by no means its ceiling but rather a new horizon, with the vast majority of investors being bullish in the long term. Personally, I believe that the next target for Bitcoin's price is $200K, which is $200,000 per coin, and I think this could be achievable by 2025.

4. Tips for beginners

Investing is a journey of self-cultivation; you must improve your research and investment skills and increase your trading success rate; investing carries risks, so you should maintain liquidity for yourself and adhere to the principle of investing spare money, buying in batches; for long-term favorable assets, dollar-cost averaging is a very good approach.
