Odaily Planet Daily News Bitwise CEO Hunter Horsley posted on platform X that less than 200 years ago, the United States passed a law allowing the widespread creation of non-human autonomous entities, which are companies. The inventions and history of companies may be the best analogy for understanding the future development of autonomous AI agents. Most facilities in today's world do not serve humans but rather serve enterprises. They transact using fiat currency, borrow through the bond market, determine ownership through the stock market, and reach agreements through courts and contracts. For AI agents, a completely new system is needed—one that will be encrypted, will transact using stablecoins and Bitcoin, will borrow through DeFi, will use smart contracts without the need for courts, and will have tokenized ownership and governance. Discussing such matters now may still be premature, but cryptocurrency is not merely a digital version of gold and stock investments; it aims to create an entirely new independent financial and property system for people and entities in the digital world.
