Japanese lawmakers promote national Bitcoin reserve fund

Japanese lawmakers, particularly Satoshi Yamada and Satoshi Hamada, have proactively proposed the idea of establishing a national Bitcoin reserve fund. Yamada has submitted an official document requesting the government to consider and evaluate the development of this trend in other countries, including the United States, in order to strengthen Japan's financial and economic markets. He also raised the question of whether Japan should convert a portion of its foreign exchange reserves into Bitcoin.

At the same time, Satoshi Hamada also emphasized the potential of Bitcoin as a national strategic asset and called on the government to take the necessary steps to establish this fund. He believes that accumulating Bitcoin could support the economy without relying on any traditional currency. Both lawmakers stressed that Japan should carefully consider joining the ongoing wave of Bitcoin reserves around the world, especially in the context of countries like the United States and Brazil taking similar steps.
