According to Foresight News and Bloomberg, Australian pension and wealth management company AMP has announced an allocation to Bitcoin futures products, with an investment size of AUD 27 million (approximately USD 17.2 million), accounting for 0.05% of its total pension assets. This marks the first time that Australia's AUD 4.1 trillion pension system has ventured into crypto assets. Although the Governor of the Reserve Bank of Australia, Michele Bullock, has a cautious stance on crypto assets, AMP stated that it will continue to manage related portfolios under a strict risk control framework.
