The Dogecoin network has crashed by 69% due to a critical vulnerability. Andreas Kohl, co-founder of Bitcoin sidechain Sequentia, claimed to have carried out this crash using an old laptop in El Salvador. According to Blockchain data, the Dogecoin network, which had 647 active nodes before the vulnerability, currently has only 315 active nodes. Discovered by researcher Tobias Ruck, this vulnerability is called "DogeReaper" and can cause any node to crash remotely. This situation raises serious concerns about the security of the Dogecoin network. What kind of effects do you think such vulnerabilities can have on the cryptocurrency world? We are waiting for your comments.
