World Liberty Financial (WLFI), a DeFi project endorsed by US President-elect Donald Trump, has recently made a significant $12m purchase using USD Coin (USDC). It bought various tokens, such as Ethereum (ETH), Chainlink (LINK), and Aave (AAVE). Blockchain analytics platform Lookonchain reported that the transactions took place on December 12th via WLFI’s multi-signature wallet.

It bought $10m worth of ETH at $3,801 per token, $1m worth of LINK at $24.2 each, and $1m in AAVE at $297.8 per token. This was WLFI’s first purchase of LINK and AAVE. The firm had spent a total of $30m to buy 8,105 ETH at an average price of $3,701 in the past 12 days. The buying spree followed a $30m investment by Tron founder Justin Sun, who became WLFI’s largest investor.
