On December 11, 2024, HashKey Exchange, Hong Kong's largest licensed virtual asset exchange, reached a strategic collaboration with Virtual Seed Global Asset Management Limited (VSG) to jointly promote the future development of the Victory VSG multi-strategy virtual asset fund (fund code: BRT103, abbreviated as the fund), which will be the first multi-strategy virtual asset fund in Hong Kong to accept stablecoin deposits.
The fund can provide trading services for dozens of virtual assets, including BTC and ETH, through Victory Securities, and offer institutional-grade comprehensive services to its clients through HashKey Pro provided by HashKey Exchange. This includes custody, trading, and clearing of user assets on HashKey Exchange via professional-grade omnibus solutions and financial APIs, achieving reliable virtual asset trading functionalities.
As Hong Kong's first multi-strategy virtual asset fund accepting stablecoin deposits, investors can not only use Hong Kong dollars and US dollars but also USDT and USDC for fund subscriptions and redemptions. All transactions of the funds after subscription and redemption will take place on HashKey Exchange. The fund will focus on investing in virtual assets, including the top thirty cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, employing multiple investment strategies to ensure compliance and adhere to relevant laws and regulations. The fund was filed with the Hong Kong SFC on October 8 and published on the SFC website on November 2.
