A film about the collapse of Terraform Labs has been made in Korea
MooAm Productions announced that on January 15, the film "Cryptomaniac" will be released, telling the story of the creation and collapse of Terraform Labs and the Terra-Luna asset, resulting in clients losing a total of between 40 to 60 billion dollars.
According to the film's script, a group of young entrepreneurs led by a self-proclaimed business genius, who is a representation of Terraform Labs co-founder Do Kwon, is developing an altcoin called MOMMY.
At some point, the seemingly successful MOMMY project fails, triggering a series of bankruptcies, and its founder goes on a years-long run from the law around the world. Now Do Kwon is detained by the authorities in Montenegro.
In November, screenwriter Lena Danha signed on to adapt the collapse of the FTX cryptocurrency exchange and the story of its CEO Sam Bankman-Fried. The rights for the adaptation were acquired by companies Apple and A24.
