Voluntary Salary Reduction to 2000
On April 26, according to reports from Jiupai Finance citing a video from the Greater Bay Area, a job seeker in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, recently claimed that he deliberately stated the opposite, believing that a monthly salary of 8000 yuan was too high and requested a salary reduction to 2000 yuan. Subsequently, the recruiting company actually lowered the job's salary to 2000 yuan, which has attracted widespread attention. The job seeker stated that he found the company was hiring programmers during his job search, so he initiated a chat with them. The job seeker indicated that he was capable in both front-end and back-end development, while the recruiter explained the company's salary package: a base salary of 6000 yuan, with overtime pay bringing it to around 8200 yuan. This level of salary did not satisfy the job seeker very much, but he did not directly refuse; instead, he said the opposite: “I fully accept it, the company comes first, everything is based on the company's interests.” He also proactively requested a salary reduction, believing that the company was offering too much, stating that he only needed a monthly salary of 2000 yuan.
