Today @Jarod40020 is taking over to share how he got started publishing on the Marketplace!

Q: How did you get started creating?

A: I first came to Decentraland in October 202. I was attending an event, still wearing nothing but the free starter Wearables that come in your backpack. I heard that Meta Zoo had an event later that day and that there would be free Wearables! The Wearables you earned were Ancient Greek themed, toga, sandals, and a laurel wreath crown.

Then I stumbled upon the Face Fashion launch party for two new Wearable collections. Face Fashion is the brainchild of @asimsart, a fantastic painter, and NFT artist. @michi_todd did all the 3D work on the wearables to bring ASim's vision to life.

When I decided I wanted to try to publish my own Wearables and turn my idea into reality, I reached out to Michi, and he made me the best sweater Decentraland has ever seen. It looks so damn comfy. When I put it on, I always feel a little warmer in real life.

TL;DR I started as a creator in Decentraland after a night of partying, gambling, and shopping. Isn't that how everyone got their start? 🤣
