The simple moving average has been clearly crossed on the 4-hour time frame, a major support level has been broken and it looks like a retest of what is now an approaching resistance level.
If we get a clear rejection of the $2.40 resistance level and a crossover of the SMA on the 12-hour time frame, I would be inclined to stop buying XRP for now and wait for the market to improve to buy the potential dip, there is no point in continuing to buy while the market changes to a short-term bearish trend.
