Foresight News reports, according to Cryptoslate, that Solana developers have proposed raising the network's block calculation limit from 48 million units to 50 million units to accommodate more transactions and improve network efficiency. According to details shared in the Solana improvement documentation on GitHub, this incremental increase aims to enhance transaction processing without affecting network performance. Anza software developer and author of the proposal Andrew Fitzgerald mentioned that the idea is still in the draft stage. This indicates that further refinements may take place before final approval.
