BlockBeats news, on December 3, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong posted on X: 'We have informed all the law firms we work with that if they hire anyone who has committed wrongdoing against the crypto industry in (the soon-to-be former) government, we will no longer be their client.'

In my view, trying to illegally strangle an industry while refusing to publish clear rules is an unethical act. If you are a senior official there, you can't say you are just following orders. They can choose to leave the SEC, and many good-willed individuals have chosen to leave. This is not a normal SEC tenure.

They can work in other fields (I don't believe in permanently removing people), but as an industry, we should not put money in their pockets after suffering devastation. Let your law firm know that hiring these people means losing you as a client.
