To better serve small merchants and vulnerable consumers, the ECB will conduct an online survey in the coming months, with results expected to be revealed in mid-2025. Meanwhile, the ECB is establishing innovative partnerships with merchants, payment service providers, fintech companies, and others to test the payment conditions of the digital euro.
